Development of mobile-app based smart remote for a smart TV
Last few decades have seen an explosion in the number of consumer electronic devices in our living rooms. As a result, the number of remote controls that we are forced to use, has grown exponentially. If one has a Smart TV along with a digital set top box, home theatre and gaming system, one may need as many as 5 or 6 remotes. A mobile application based remote control system can solve this challenge of managing multiple remotes.
This case study sheds light on how we helped our customer develop a smart remote-control system by enabling the support on a Smart TV and developing a mobile app which runs on both Android/ iOS devices.
