Tushar Kanti Adhikary

Vice President - Operations

Tushar has more than 14 years of experience in embedded multimedia domain for wireless consumer electronics industry. His experience extends across business development, program management, partnership management, team building & mentorship, design & development of multimedia codecs & algorithms on varied media archictures. In his present role at PathPartner, Tushar is focused on organization building through Operational excellence.

Tushar is a co-founder and a member of PathPartner Board of Directors.

Prior to PathPartner, as a member of core team, Tushar played a key role in building the successful embedded multimedia technology venture, Emuzed, from start up to acquisition. He groomed and guided a strong video technology team, which pioneered development of several best-in-class software IP for video codecs and algorithms, which has been licensed to several leading mobile handset OEMs & ODMs across the globe. Prior to Emuzed, Tushar worked at Sasken Communication Technologies and grew from a DSP S/W Engineer to Senior Software Engineer. In these roles, his contributions ranged across research, design, development and optimal implementation video codecs and algorithms on several media architectures.

Tushar has several international publications including IEEE transaction and conference proceedings, on digital communication and media signal processing algorithms and optimal mapping of these algorithms on different architectures.

Tushar holds a Masters of Engineering in Electrical Communication Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India and a Bachelors of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering with University Gold Medal from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India.
