SIP full HD Video conferencing on OMAP4 and Android ICS
This video from Pathpartner Tech is a SIP-based high definition video conferencing demo on Android 4.0 running on OMAP4460 based Blaze Tab2 and Blaze mobile development platforms. This is a demonstration of enterprise class video conferencing solution. The demo setup consists of a OMAP4460 based Blaze Tab2, Blaze mobile development platform, iPad2 and a PC running SIP server - all connected over WiFi. In this demonstration, we showcased performance, quality, latency and interop capability of our video conferencing app on OMAP4. This video conferencing solution is based on open standard SIP protocol for signalling, RTCP for bandwidth control, SRTP for secure transfer of video, video codecs such as high performance H264, legacy H263, voice codecs such as G711, G722, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, telephony capability such as DTMF. Video resolution supported is upto 1080p@30fps and can operate at bit rates from 128kbps upto 8Mbps. This SIP based video conferencing seamlessly interoperates with the hardware and software endpoints from Polycom, Lifesize and Tandberg. This App on Android can run on OMAP4 based smartphone & tablets and capable of 1080p 30fps video conferencing over WiFi with a hardware endpoint (such as meeting room, desktop phone etc) within the enterprise or from outside.
